Now, this is gonna be available in a few different configurations. The one we installed today has four-pole ends, and it also comes with a four-pole to four-pole jumper. Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit for towed vehicles. So before we get too carried away, kind of talking about the wiring and how it's gonna work and things of that nature, I figured it'd be be just to kinda touch base and refresh ourselves on the main components that we're gonna need to Flat Tow our Ford down the road in the first place. The main components are gonna consist of five different things. So first one being your Base Plate. And what that's gonna do is provide us with a solid and reliable attachment point, that way we can hook our Tow Bar up. more

Shane: Hey everyone. Shane here with etrailer.com. Today our 2019 Ford Explorer, and I want to walk through Highline installed Roadmaster's Diode Wiring Kit. Diode Wiring Kit is designed to allow you to get your lights from your motor home transfer back to your vehicle so that when you're flat-towing, everybody knows what you're doing, whether that's braking, turning or driving at night. Once this is installed, you're not going to see anything. All you have to do is connect your six pole plug in the front of the vehicle to the seven-pole plug on the motor home, and your lights will function. more

Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2017 Ford Explorer- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford Explorer, you're going to be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Roadmaster Universal High Power Diode Wiring Kit. Part number RM-154. This is what your diode wiring kit is gonna look like when you get it. You're gonna have a few 30 foot of wire with your two four pull pins on it, you're also gonna have a tether, which is gonna go from one four pull that's coming out of the front of your vehicle to the back of your RV and you're gonna get some wire. In our case, our customer already has a six pull plug that goes through a four pull. So we're just gonna be cutting one end off and running that end to the back of our vehicle and then splicing those wires into our factory tail light wiring.If you have just a four pull plug on the back of your vehicle, or maybe you have nothing on the back of your vehicle, what you're gonna do is, you're gonna take about three foot of this, you're gonna cut it off and this end is what is gonna get spliced into your RV so that your tether can provide the connection between the two. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2011 Ford Explorer, you're going to be taking a look at, and we'll show you how to install the Road Master diode seven wire to six wire flexi-coil wiring kit. Part number RM-15267. This is what your diode kit's going to look like when you get it. You get your seven to six coil flexi-coil umbilical cord. They range in 30 foot four pole wire, that you're going to run from the front of the vehicle to the back, it's going to connect directly to your existing wiring right behind your tail lights. You're going to get your four diodes. more

Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2017 Ford Explorer- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford Explorer we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Blue Ox tow bar wiring kit four diode, part number BX8848. With that wiring kit we're gonna be using the Roadmaster six wire trailer connector, part number RM-910030-7. This is what our wiring kit looks like when it's installed, what this wiring kit is gonna do the diodes are to keep any back feed from your trailer into your factory wiring into your vehicle. It's gonna allow you to receive lighting functions from your RV into your towed vehicle. This wiring kit's gonna give you all the proper functions you need, your taillights, your running lights, your blinkers, and your ground.It's a fairly straightforward install, let's show you how to get it done. First thing we need to do to begin our installation is we need to get under the hood, we're gonna remove these seven screws that run across the top of our fascia, we'll be using a 10 millimeter socket. more

Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2010 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2010 Ford Explorer, we're going to show you how to install the Roadmaster Bulb and socket kit with bulbs part number RM-155. We'll hook our tow vehicle up to the front here, we'll start by turning on the taillights. With those working, let's check the left blinker, then our left break. Now our right blinker and our right break. Now as you can see, we mounted our plug in the position we went right on top of the bumper structure there. That way we wouldn't have any issues once we had everything on and trying to get it installed. WE're going to take care of getting our bracket mounted for where our wiring's going to go up here in the front. more
